Information and Consultation Activity

  • The Pulp and Paper Institute issues the Pulp and Paper Magazine. The first issue of the Magazine came out in 1970. Over the years the magazine established as a chronicler of the Bulgarian pulp and paper industry and today it is a leading source of information for the industry. Its pages reflected the present condition and the trends in the industry on a national and global scale. The magazine presents the scientific, industrial, economic, technological and technical advances in the industry and is a platform for debate and expert opinion.
  • The Pulp and Paper Institute issues a Business Report (Market Analyses section of Pulp and Paper Magazine) with updated pricing information, news and trends in the pulp and paper industry in Europe. The publication is weekly and is distributed electronically.
  • The Pulp and Paper Institute collects, processes and provides statistics on the production, import, export and consumption of pulp, paper and paperboard of Bulgarian pulp and paper industry to its partners at home and abroad.
  • The Pulp and Paper Institute provides:
    – Consultancy on furnishing of laboratories with modern equipment for testing and process control on the quality of raw materials and finished products in the pulp and paper industry enterprises
    – Consultancy related to the implementation of investment projects in the sector.
    – The Pulp and Paper Institute is the official representative for Bulgaria of FRANK-PTI, manufacturer of high-quality laboratory instruments and appliances for testing the pulp, paper and board. FRANK-PTI supplies individual machines and provides complete equipment of laboratories. To meet the latest requirements in the area of testing techniques and customer demand, the company develops new instruments for determining of the basic properties of fibrous materials, paper and board – composition, structural, optical, surface, printing and mechanical.
  • The Pulp and Paper Institute provides:
    – Market research and analyses of the needs of different types of paper, board and fibrous semimanufacture, corrugated board and packaging thereof, waste paper.
  • The Pulp and Paper Institute offers advertising promotional calendars; diaries; flyers and brochures; promotional bags.
